  4. Students are required to have the following materials:

    2. -- Something to take notes on. This may be loose leaf paper in a binder or a notebook. 

    3. -- Something to keep notes or handouts. This may be a folder or binder.

    4. -- A calculator! I do not let my students use their phone calculators in class. Algebra 1 students require a simple scientific calculator, and pre-calc students require a ti-84 or ti-83 graphing calculator.

    5. -- A pencil or pen. Pencils are better, but pens are fine.
